Redwood Empire Screaming Titan Wheated Bourbon Whiskey 750 ml
Our Small Lot Series allows us to continue our experimentation through applying our established house style to products with a focused approach. This 50 barrel batch, called the Wheated Bourbon Whiskey, is a standout within our collection. The Tasting Panel rated it 94 points. Cutting into the richness and viscosity of corn, the larger wheat component gives this bourbon a lighter character, allowing the notes of honey and floral to shine through. Made with a mash bill of 4% malt, 7% rye, 59% corn, and 30% wheat. The region of the Redwood Empire, stretching from San Francisco to Humboldt Bay and the Oregon border, is home to the ancient giants of the coastal redwoods, some over 350 feet high and 2,000 years old. Our whiskey is aged in this temperate climate, allowing for a slow and even extraction of flavor, resulting in a whiskey that is exceptionally balanced and complex.
