Rye- 53 gallon American White Oak barrels with a blend of 3 to 5 year-old barrels make up Redwood Empire Rocket Top Rye. Its deliciously tannic taste profile gives off a depth of old characteristics. The Northern California coast's temperate climate is used to age Redwood Empire Rocket Top Rye, which adds depth to the flavor.
This whiskey is the purest representation of Redwood Empire's skill, having been bottled in accordance with the rigid guidelines of the Bottled-In-Bond Act of 1897. From San Francisco to Humboldt Bay and onward to the Oregon border, there is an area known as the Redwood Empire.
The spectacular coastal redwoods in the area, some of which are almost 2,000 years old, are what give this whisky its name—Rocket Top. A reminder of this is the 365-foot-tall tree from the Patriarch Forest in Humboldt Redwoods State Park.
