The Oloroso and Pedro Ximenez (PX) sherry casks used to age Glendronach's Parliament Release were combined after being used for at least 21 years. A term used to describe a specific group of birds is "parliament." Following the colony, or "parliament," of rooks that have been nesting in the trees that overlook the Glendronach Distillery for almost 200 years, this rich expression was given the name "Parliament."
