Cava de Oro Anejo Tequila is aged in French white oak barrels for 24 months, producing a smooth spirit with a protracted and sweet finish that is bottled at 76 proof. The origins of Cava de Oro Tequila may be traced back to Gildardo Partida and Leticia Hermosillo, who began growing blue Weber agaves in the early 1990s.
In the Casa Cava de Oro, a little alembic was set up, followed by a tiny bottling line. An whole new type of tequila expression was quickly born as a result of experimentation and creativity.
