It began in 1847 with a bold, satisfying taste that would make Indiana the rye capital of the world. For nearly 200 years, Lawrenceburg's master distillers and blenders have perfected the original handcrafted rye blends in one of America's last Prohibition-era distilleries. Rossville Union Rye Whiskey is a tribute to the golden age of rye made by the Masters of Rye at MGP. Blended from 83 special reserve barrels, Rossville Union Barrel Proof Rye is boldly bottled at 112.6-proof for a full, but balanced cask-strength rye experience. Singularly crafted, the smooth finish of this Barrel Proof beauty lingers on with each sip.
Big and bold at barrel proof to remind you what it means to be a Rye Whiskey.
George Ross founded Rossville Distillery in 1847. Aside from a brief switch to industrial production during Prohibition, it has been producing fine Spirits continuously since then. Through a series of mergers and acquisitions it has been owned by Seagram’s, Pernod Ricard, and others over the years. But since 2011 it has been the flagship of MGP — one of the largest producers of Whiskey, Gin, and other Spirits.
