Rye- The 51% and 95% rye whiskeys from Ross and Squib (previously MGP) are combined to create Old Ezra, which is then matured for seven years before being charcoal filtered and bottled at a powerful 114 proof. Pleasant wood and vanilla fragrances are evident on the nose, along with citrus and mint undertones. When sipped, delicious vanilla and caramel flavors are accompanied by citrus and a little peppery spice. In the finish, along with earthy wood and tobacco aromas, the pepper remains. To the Old Ezra line, a delightful and welcome new addition.
