A mix of straight rye is used to create High West Rendezvous Rye Whiskey, which is then matured for four to seven years in barrels constructed of charred American white oak. This method provides the blended whiskey a strong flavor and a high rye content.

This spirit is ideal for creating whiskey cocktails since it has a balanced body and a flavor profile that is highly spicy with flavors of candied fruit, caramel, vanilla, molasses, and cinnamon. With each sip, a lingering finish flavored with aromatic spices and vanilla is delivered. The American whiskey should be consumed neat.
