Hardin’s Creek Warehouse R Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is an 11-year-old expression from the James B. Beam Distilling Co. that explores one of the most fascinating elements of bourbon maturation: where a barrel rests inside the warehouse.
For Warehouse R, the barrels were selected from the 1st floor, where the aging environment differs from barrels resting higher in a Kentucky rickhouse. After 11 years of maturation, the result is a richly developed bourbon that balances classic Beam sweetness with mature oak, fruit, vanilla, and warming spice.
Bottled at a substantial 110 proof, Warehouse R offers plenty of depth and concentration while maintaining a beautifully structured profile. Caramel and vanilla lead into layers of dark fruit, toasted oak, baking spice, and roasted nuttiness, followed by a long, warming finish.
