A special combination of rums matured in white oak and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks makes up Ambassador Rum. This exceptional rum has at least 12 years of aging. A fine rum called Diplomatico Ambassador is created from the distillery's finest rums.
They spend a minimum of twelve years in white oak barrels before spending an additional two years in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, which adds to the rich sensory character of Ambassador. It smells something like port wine with hints of dried fruit and cigar boxes. Complex flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, and toasted oak on the palate are followed by a protracted, gratifying aftertaste.
