Arborescence is a limited-edition product that honors the craft distilling movement.
We created a robust stout foundation to mature in 15-gallon bourbon barrels from Evanston, Illinois' FEW Spirits and Los Angeles' R6 Distilling. The increased contact area of liquid to wood across this assortment of small vessels amplifies these rich flavors and results in a barrel-forward, 15.21% ABV finished product, as opposed to our typical 53-gallon bourbon barrels, which layer hints of oak, vanilla, caramel, and just a nip of bourbon spirit into a finished beer.
