When Luxco's Blood Oath series released its first blended Kentucky straight bourbon expression in 2015, it made a big splash in the whiskey world. A 16-year aged bourbon, a 12-year aged bourbon, and a 7-year aged bourbon are combined to make Blood Oath Pact No. 9, which is completed in Oloroso Sherry casks from the Sherry Triangle region in southwest Spain.
