Collaboration with Firestone Walker - Imperial Coffee Stout with Mostra Coffee.
We teamed up with Firestone Walker to tackle Another Coffee Stout. We took some grain they like to work, added a 4-hour boil, and then teamed up with Mostra Coffee to round it all out. The result is a very approachable coffee forward beer, with both the grain bill and the coffee creating a symphony on your palate. Cheers!
This Collab started with a malt bill designed by Firestone and ended with a custom coffee blend by Mostra using their Brazil and Tanzania roasts. Coffee and dark fruit notes greet your nose giving way to chocolatey mouthfeel and finishing with a solid coffee bitterness.
